Important points to note

Preliminary Steps (prior to arrival):

  • Ask your doctor, if you are fit to travel overseas with your medical condition.
  • Please send clinical case history with details of treatment taken, latest medical reports and current clinical status of the patient.
  • A senior consultant doctor will review your case and suggest the options available and the most suitable treatment plan. We will send this to you along with an estimate of likely charges.
  • Once you confirm, we will send the necessary Medical Visa Invitation Letter which is required in getting the medical visa from the Indian embassy/consulate of your country

Medical Visa:

Entry, stay and exit of foreigners into India is governed by government regulations. We can assist you in getting the Medical Visa (Medical Visa (MED) from the embassy/consulate of your country by providing the necessary .Medical Visa Invitation Letter. The advantage of Medical Visa is the possibility of extension in case the need arises during the course of treatment which is not possible with Tourist Visa (T). Attendants/family members of patients coming to India for medical treatment shall be granted Medical Attendant Visa (MEDX) co-terminus with the Medical visa of the patient. Please note that Medical Visa (MED) is mandatory for Organ Transplantation and Cancer treatmentForeign nationals staying more than 180 days, need to register at Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) within 14 days of your arrival unless mentioned otherwise in their visa, for which we provide assistance. Patients from Pakistan & Afghanistan are required to register within 24 hours of arrival with the nearest police station.
