840 school girls appear for Scholarship Examination- The girl child needs all the encouragement she can get to continue her education. Any encouragement goes a long way for hard working underprivileged school girls in Delhi, many of whose parents are daily wage workers.
- Apollo Hospitals Scholarship is one such initiative – wherein Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals will award 200 meritorious school girls from two Delhi Government Girls Senior Secondary Schools in the next two months with a monetary award.
- On November 30, 2017, in the run-up to the award, 840 school girls from 9th to 12th standards of Jasola Village Delhi Government Girls Secondary School, wrote an examination to assess their academic excellence.
- A special examination paper was prepared by the school teachers for each of the classes to assess meritorious students in this exam.
