- Assistant Prof. of surgery at AIIMS from Jan.1975 to Dec.1982.
- Associate Prof. of surgery at AIMMS from Jan 1983 till 1986.
- Fellow ship in surgical Onclogy at Memorial Sloane Kettering cancer centre Newyork in 1979 to 1980
- Head surgical oncology at Mafrao Hospital on Ministry of health, Abu Dhabi UAE ( helped in starting a cancer centre in UAE)
- Founder member and initiated and atarted Indian Society of Oncology (ISO) the only platform in India for Oncology Meetings.
Awards And Achievements
- Passionate about breast cancer awareness for doctors and public at large.
- Chairperson of an NGO called “Forum for Breast Protection”.
- Produced a short educational film on breast self examination and breast cancer awareness.
