Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals sponsored an event to showcase the dramatic talents of underprivileged hearing-impaired children supported by Lepra India Trust in October 2015. The event helped enhance the self-esteem and confidence of the children and their parents who also attended.
As the winter of 2015 started, 118 blankets were distributed to underprivileged persons in December. Further, a medical camp was organized in January 216 for Rohingya refugees from Myanmar in Kalindi Kunj, Delhi, to screen them for any diseases and conditions that would pose a hazard to their health. At the start of 2016, as Delhi suffered with toxic air pollution, the company planted 25,000 saplings in 1000 MCD and Delhi government schools to help mitigate the ill effects of air pollution and educate the children on the importance of plants to ensure clean air.
